بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ
مِن شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ
وَمِن شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ
وَمِن شَرِّ النَّفَّاثَاتِ فِي الْعُقَدِ
وَمِن شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ

Bismillāhir-Raḥmānir-Raḥīm
Qul a’ūdhu birabbil-falaq
Min sharri mā khalaq
Wa min sharri ghāsiqin idhā waqab

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Say, “I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak
From the evil of what He created
And from the evil of darkness when it settles
And from the evil of the blowers in knots
And from the evil of an envier when he envies.”
Benefits of Surah Al Falaq
It is believed that Surah Nas and Surah Falaq were revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) during a time of illness. Together these two surahs are known as al Mu’awwidhatayn (meaning, ‘the two protectors’)The recitation of these two Surahs will protect people from many evils, including the evil eye. According to hadith, we learn the Prophet (ﷺ) would often recite these two Surahs right before going to bed.
Narrated ‘Aisha – Sahih al-Bukhari 5017:Whenever the Prophet (ﷺ) went to bed every night, he used to cup his hands together and blow over it after reciting Surat Al-Ikhas, Surat Al-Falaq and Surat An-Nas, and then rub his hands over whatever parts of his body he was able to rub, starting with his head, face and front of his body. He used to do that three times.
